Featuring members of Vancouver bands Themasses and Jackfruit, THE BIG BLACK FURRY CREATURES FROM MARS have made it their mission to accurately perform many of the challenging prog-jam-jazz-rock arrangements of the iconic 90’s touring jam-band PHISH.
Having been hugely influenced by PHISH as developing musicians, this project is somewhat of a natural occurrence for these four players. However, there will be no red wigs, moo-moo’s or squash goggles (subject to change - oops, just did, Sean wore a moo moo at our second show...) – just four dedicated musicians playing their asses off, no holds-barred.
