In the basement of his parents house 21 years ago, Matt Robertson (guitar / vocals) began to hack out Grateful Dead covers with his good friend and long time compatriot Jason Atterton, who had just bought an old Peavey bass guitar. The years progressed, they left high school and Matthew started to write his own stuff as they continued to play as a duo. Somewhere along the line, many years ago, Matt quietly put down his electric guitar, turned off his amp and picked up an acoustic... forever changing the way he played and wrote music. Jason eventually followed suit and they became what they are today... an acoustic, song based folk-pop outfit.
Matthew writes the songs, brings them to Jason for final development and they play them for 10 years or so in their jam space Doghouse West... hoping to someday actually play them to people, not just to Matt's cat Dave! They have managed to stick together through many years of amazing highs and very scary lows, putting all of that experience into their music.
Introspective, acoustic folk-pop for your listening pleasure...
