“Brainchild” is a four (and sometimes five) piece folky/rocky/jazzy/bluesy-style fusion band. They do 99% original songs written by Bing Jensen.
Spawned from '60s Vancouver folk-rock troubadours - “Brain Damage” - “Brainchild” was originally formed in 2004 as a three piece with Bing, Dave & Mal - the band has since expanded its sound with the addition of Krickler and Sample.
They have performed at the Arts Club Lounge, Commodore Ballroom, Café Deux Soleil, Wise Club, and other venues in the Vancouver, BC area.
The music is danceable and is lyrically provocative. If one looks really hard they may see the band enjoying themselves. They are just what you want to hear.
