Mythmaker's mission is to share vibrant, living mythologies through performance art. We are dedicated to the empowerment of community and youth through interactive entertainment and education. Our goal of community development is achieved through community networks, public workshops and performance opportunities for the public.
We are a multi-disciplinary performance artist collective based on the Sunshine Coast that creates interactive storytelling experiences using costumes, dance, circus arts, sacred theatre, puppetry, stilts and fire to inspire audiences of all ages. The scope of our creative process is very multi-dimensional that involves supporting individual artists, co-creation and broad community outreach strategies. We are more than a theatre group, we are a bridge between the artist community and the local community.
