Calm has been working around Vancouvers music scene for the past 8 years. His involvement with the production departments of the Vancouver Jazz, Folk & Writer Festivals has allowed him to gain an extensive background into the planning and production of large events.
Calms interest in live music has taken him from the film industry into live sound and now into producing events. He has worked in the film industry for the last 7 years, working mostly on commercials and independent films with such stars as Tom Green, Pam Grier, NSYNC and Britney Spears.
Bonfire is the 3rd Festival Calm has co-produced on the Sunshine Coast. Calm has been fortunate enough to hold his past events on Bowen Island and Thormanby Island. Growing up in nearby Buccaneer Bay, and having a family history on the Sunshine Coast, Calm is excited about the future of the Bonfire Music Festival.
